Don Livesay - Retired


Don Livesay is a founding member of the Arizona Film & Media Coalition. Before he retired in 2013, he worked for Actors’ Equity Association, AFTRA, Screen Actors Guild and the now merged SAG-AFTRA, a span of 38 years.  He has served on the advisory board of the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame and he is currently a museum guide at the Musical Instrument Museum and a reader to 5th graders in a literacy program at Galveston Elementary School in Chandler.


In 2005 he was appointed by Governor Janet Napolitano to serve on the Arizona Film and Television Commission and in 2006 was presented with the Layne Award by the Arizona Entertainment Alliance in appreciation for his dedication and commitment to the entertainment industry. His passion is to see Arizona develop a vibrant business environment that will provide high quality employment and boost the film industry to a level where it will compete favorably in the global economy.
